Legal Issues for Virtual Enterprises

Event Objectives and Programme

This workshop is the fifth event specially organised for the VIVE interest group, and is framed within the ESoCE Italia annual conference, "Building the Concurrent Enterprise: Breaking Legal and Buysiness Culture Barriers".
The main purpose of the Workshop is to discuss major issues in the legal framework for Virtual Enterprises. It provides an opportunity to launch new co-operations, also through the exploitation of financing opportunities from the European Commission.

The workshop is focused on the discussion of a reference taxonomy for the open legal issues in the constitution and operation of Virtual enterprises, aiming at :

  • Identifying and classifying the legal issues arising form the emergence of the virtual enterprise;
  • Exchanging information on ongoing relevant research and exploiting co-operation opportunities on common themes;
  • Achieving an initial common view of required actions at national and international level;
  • Comparing emerging legal issues and the existing legal and regulatory frameworks in view to generating suggestions for future policy development and new RTD actions.

The workshop will be held in the afternoon session of the ESoCE Italia annual conference, and will be introduced during the morning session by a presentation by Dr. Marco Mazzeschi, acting Vice President of ESoCE Italia.
